Morford, Meyers wedding

CHADRON -- Kristin Morford and Derek Meyers were united in marriage Aug. 9, 2008, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Chadron with the Rev. Paul Warneke of Curtis officiating. Parents of the couple are Steve and Kathy Morford formerly of Maywood, of Spearfish SD., and Michael and Carla Meyers of Curtis.

Ashley Thomalla, formerly of Wellfleet, now of Wahoo was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Deidra Leeper and Sheena Sturgeon. Junior bridesmaids were Kellie and Kara Morford, sisters of the bride.

Michael Meyers, father of the bridegroom, of Curtis served as bestman. Bridegroomsmen were Austin Fischer and Stan Campbell. Layne Meyers, brother of the bridegroom was the junior bridegroomsman.

Hilary Meyers and Jaynee Gregg were flower girls and Ashton Meyers was the ringbearer. Hayley Meyers, sister of the bridegroom of Curtis was the soloist.

A reception was at Motel 6 in Chadron. After a honeymoon in Estes Park, Colo., the couple is making their home in Chadron.
