BIRD CITY -- An Imperial man died in a motorcycle accident at 11:15 a.m., Saturday, about 91⁄2 miles north of Bird City on Kansas Highway 161.
According to an accident report prepared by the Kansas Highway Patrol, Jack L. Carman, 61, of Imperial was southbound when his motorcycle entered the ditch. Carman lost control, the cycle laid over on its side and slid to a stop facing in an unknown direction. The motorcycle was moved before the trooper arrived. Carman was taken to the Cheyenne County Hospital in St. Francis. Comments

my heart goes out to his friends and family. i lost my husband to a motorcycle wreck a year and a half ago. im so sorry for their sudden and unexplained loss. they are in my prayers.
