Brodersen, Martin engagement

Michelle Brodersen and Craig Martin, both of Kearney, are planning an Oct. 4, 2008, wedding at Mary's Lake Lodge and Resort in Estes Park, Colo.

Parents of the couple are Max and Carol Brodersen of McCook and Ron and Kathy Martin of Hayesville, N.C.

The bride-to-be is a 1994 graduate of McCook High School. She graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney in 1999, with a Bachelor's Degree in human development and family relationships. She is a case manager for Boys and Girls Home of Nebraska and assistant softball coach at the University of Nebraska at Kearney.

The prospective bridegroom is a 1998 graduate of Carson High School in Carson City, Nev. He graduated from Dana College in Blair, in 2003 with a Bachelor's Degree in mathematics and business and is studying Business Administration at UNK. He is account associate/team leader at Credit Management in Grand Island.
