Davis, Davis engagement

Brianna Davis and James Davis of Denver, Colo., announce their engagement and upcoming marriage. Parents of the couple are Ken and Cathy Davis of McCook, Clarence Davis of Chandler, Texas and Dianne Bristow of Duncanville, Texas.

The bride-to-be graduated from McCook Senior High in 1994 and earned an Associates degree in 1996 from McCook Community College. She graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. She works for the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN) in Denver as an assistant editor.

The prospective bridegroom graduated from Humanex Academy in Lakewood, Colo., in 1994. He is a telecommunications engineer for Avaya, Inc. in Highlands Ranch, Colo.

An Oct. 4, 2008, ceremony is planned at Botanic Gardens at Chatfield in Littleton, Colo.
