Grunden, Welch engagement

Megan Grunden and Dawson Welch announce their engagement and upcoming wedding. Parents of the couple are Harlan and Tammy Grunden of Curtis and Teresa Welch of Curtis and the late Doug Welch. Grandparents of the bride-to-be are Harvey and Myrna Grunden of Curtis and Martha Anderson of Elwood and the late Bill Anderson.

The prospective bridegroom's grandparents are Don and Myrna Musgrave of Indianola.

The bride-to-be is a 2004 graduate of Medicine Valley High School and a 2008 graduate of Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kan., with an Associates of Radiology and a Bachelors in Medical Diagnostic Imaging. She is employed with Great Plains Regional Medical Center in the Diagnostic Imaging Department.

The prospective bridegroom is a 2003 graduate of Medicine Valley High School and a 2007 graduate of Fort Hays State University in Hays with a Bachelors of Industrial Technology. He is employed on the family farm.

A Sept. 20, 2008 ceremony is planned at St. John's Church in Curtis.
