Keri and Clayton Waddle

Keri Steinke and Clayton Waddle, both of Red Cloud were married March 15, 2008, at the Memorial United Methodist Church in McCook with the Rev. Dr. Jeff Thurman officiating.

Parents of the couple are Jim and Karen Steinke of McCook and Duane and Georgia Waddle of Ericson.

Grandparents of the bridegroom are Dorothy Keim and Lewis and Bertha Waddle, all of Lincoln.

Maid of honor was Jennifer Robinson of Hartsville, S.C., sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Nancy Pick of McCook, Kate Wolford of Lincoln and Amanda Waddle of Ericson, sister of the bridegroom.

Christopher Waddle of Hastings, brother of the bridegroom served as bestman. Bridegroomsmen were Don Wasson of Chester, Jason Searle of Edgar and Kyler Gartner of Hartsville, nephew of the bride.

Allyson Steinke of Indianola, Iowa and Karissa Steinke of Waukee, Iowa, both cousins of the bride were flower girls. Braden Robinson, nephew of the bride, of Hartsville and Jordan Steinke of Waukee, cousin of the bride were ring bearers. Candlelighters were Katie Latta and Laura Brooks of McCook.

Stephani Olson of Red Cloud and Mary Sawyer of Burr Oak, Kan., were personal attendants. Ushers were Kendell and Cameron Foster of McCook, Jack Latta of Lincoln, Asher Brooks of McCook and Jake and Josh Smith of Kearney.

The balloon and bulletin attendant was Drew Smith of Kearney. Guest book attendants were Nadine Gilbert and Robin Peterson, both of Red Cloud, Carol Kumke of Cambell and Cathy Ostrander of Sutton.

Marie Coffey of McCook was the organist and Adam Wolford of Lincoln and Stacie Sawyer of Hastings were soloists.

A reception and dance was at the Community Building in McCook. Host couples were Bill and Judi Madron, Greg and Pam Wolford, Todd and Dawn Foster and Todd and Shariel Thieszen, all of McCook. The cake was made by Eloise Farber of McCook and was served by Jill Reid and Lori Steinke, cousins of the bride and Nadine Beethe, aunt of the bridegroom. The candy table was served by Jana Kmoch and Camy Bradley, both of McCook.

The bride is a K-12 Art Teacher at Red Cloud Community Schools. The bridegroom is the K-12 Principal for South Central Nebraska Unified District No. 5 for Lawrence/Nelson Schools.

After a honeymoon in Cairns, Australia the couple is making their home in Red Cloud.
