Coleman, Schmit engagement

Cinda Coleman of McCook and Matt Schmit, originally from Bellwood, now of Ogallala, announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.

Parents of the couple are Charles and Christina Coleman of McCook and Harry and Sharon Schmit of Bellwood.

Grandparents of the bride-to-be are John and Eileen Hubert and Lillie Coleman, all of McCook and the late Charlie Coleman.

The bride-t0-be is a 2002 McCook High School graduate, a 2004 McCook Community College graduate and a 2007 University of Nebraska-Kearney graduate, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in music. She is employed at High Plains Radio and the McCook City Pool.

The prospective bridegroom is a 1998 graduate of David City Aquinas and a 2002 graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice. He s a trooper with the Nebraska State Patrol.

A wedding is set for Aug. 30, 2008 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in McCook.
