Janice Allen

NORTH PLATTE -- Janice Allen, 57, a former longtime resident of Imperial, died Thursday (July 24, 2008) at Great Plains Regional Medical Center.

Survivors include her husband, Doug Allen of North Platte; daughter, Jennifer and husband, Jim Harris of Imperial; two sons, Aric and wife, Tiffany Allen of Imperial and Chad Allen, also of Imperial; her mother, Verna Sandman of Wauneta; two brothers, Bill and wife, Deb Sandman of Kearney and Greg and wife, Sandy Sandman of Curtis; two sisters, Jackie and husband, Terry Deewey of Grand Island and Vicki and husband Gary Grimes of Enders; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, 2 p.m., at the Christian Faith Outreach Church with the Rev. Glen Kline officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery in Imperial.

Visition is Monday, 2-6 p.m., at Liewer Funeral Home in Imperial.

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to the Rainbow Promise of Imperial or the Crisis Pregnancy Outreach of Genks, Okla.

Liewer Funeral Home of Imperial is in charge of arrangements.
