Furnas County Fair fun

Four-year-old Saige Tegtman of Stamford pedals hard in the "Lil' Red Draggin'" kids' tractor pull Wednesday evening during the Furnas County fair in Beaver City. Fair activities continue with rodeo performances at 8 p.m., today, and Friday, and a demolition derby at 7:30 p.m., Saturday. 4-H swine, goat and sheep shows were today; the beef show starts at 9 a.m., Friday, followed by the dog show at 3 p.m. The 4-H exhibit building will be open from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m., Friday, and from 10 a.m. until noon, Saturday; 4-H exhibits will be released between noon and 2 p.m., Saturday. The livestock sale is scheduled at 10 a.m., Saturday.
