Summer classes

Students at Maywood Public Schools enjoy a two-week program of "summer enrichment" classes, which included volleyball and football, science and home economics, archery, woodworking, Spanish and astronomy. Teacher/coaches Jeff Koehler and Shauna Donohoe (above playing football with Dayne Littell and volleyball with Jayse Koehler) were among instructors. Codi Guerrieri learned about "bows on toes" during archery, and Clayton Robinson learned about mortars and pestles in home economics. A time exposure photograph shows the "heavens" that students Tate Hartley and Hope Strong studied in the almost-gym-sized inflatable star lab.
