Malleck/Kurkowski engagement

Ashley Dawn Malleck of Indianola and Brett Lee Kurkowski of Grant announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

Parents of the couple are Shawn and Michele Malleck of Indianola, Kevin and Marilyn Lee of North Platte and the late Jack Kurkowski.

The bride-to-be is a 2003 graduate of Republican Valley High School and is employed at the Ed Thomas YMCA in McCook.

The prospective bridegroom is a 2002 graduate of Grant High School and is an Industrial Electrician at Parker Hannifin in McCook.

A July 12, 2008, ceremony is planned at Memorial United Methodist Church in McCook.
