Cook, Vrbas engagement

Robin Cook of Trenton announces the upcoming marriage of her daughter, Laken Marae to Jared Blase Vrbas, the son of Gaylord and Rhonda Vrbas of Stratton.

The bride-to-be is a 2006 graduate of Hitchcock County High School and is attending Mid Plains Community College at McCook in the LPN program.

The prospective bridegroom is a 2003 graduate of Lakeside Central High School and a 2007 graduate of Western Nebraska Community College. He is employed at South West Public Power in Palisade.

A July 5, 2008, wedding ceremony is planned at St. James Church in Trenton.
