Morford, Meyers engagement

Kristin Morford of Maywood and Derek Meyers of Curtis announce their engagement and upcoming marriage. Parents of the couple are Steve and Kathy Morford of Spearfish, S.D., formerly of Maywood and Michael and Carla Meyers of Curtis.

The bride-to-be earned a Bachelor's of Science in Human Biology/Psychology in May 2007, at Chadron State. She is working on her Master's degree in community counseling at Chadron State. She is employed with Wal-mart as a Pharmacy Technician.

The prospective bridegroom is working towards his Bachelor's degree in criminal justice at Chadron State. He is employed at The Mercantile farm and ranch store.

An Aug. 9, 2008, ceremony is planned at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Chadron.
