The family of Jerry and Cheri (Myers) Beckenhauer of McCook are hosting an open house and card shower in honor of the couple's 40th wedding anniversary. They were married May 25, 1968, in McCook. Children of the couple are Mike and Lynette Holloway of Papillion, Scott and Michalene Beckenhauer of Bellevue and Daniel and Lisa Pomajzl of Seward. They have six grandchildren. The open house will be Sunday, May 25, from 2:30-4:30 p.m., at the McCook Christian Church. Cards of congratulations will reach the couple at 308 West 2nd, McCook NE 69001.
