Midget Baseball League season opens Friday

The McCook Midget Baseball Association, Inc. will start the season with a free will offering hamburger feed at 5 p.m. at Felling Field.

The evening will begin with an infield parade of teams, coaches, prize drawings for the players and two baseball games starting after the prize drawing.

Sluggers games (pitching machine) scheduled:

Game 1: AmFirst Bank vs. Community Hospital

Game 2: Sports Bar & Grill vs. Janssen-Kool Honda

Coaches and teams are expected to be present at 4:30 p.m. to help get everyone arranged for the infield parade.

MMBA is responsible for administering the city league youth baseball and a T-softball division in McCook.
