HAYES CENTER -- Brad Lee Curran of Hayes Center died Sunday, May 11, 2008, at Great Plains Regional Center in North Platte. He was 44 years old.

Brad was born on Feb. 26, 1964, in Imperial, Neb., to Donald Duane and Carole Kay (Leffler) Curran. He graduated from Hayes Center High School in 1982.

After graduation, Brad started farming north of Hayes Center and was farming at the time of his death. He loved his cattle and his Border Collie dogs. In his free time, he liked to hunt and spend time with his family.

Preceding him in death were his maternal grandparents, Don and Helen Leffler and paternal grandparents, Elva and John Curran.

Survivors include his father, Don Curran of Hayes Center; his mother, Carole Curran of Hayes Center; two brothers, Dale Curran and wife, Sherry of Holbrook and Jeremy Curran and wife, Jo of Hayes Center; two sisters, Cherri and husband, Steve Broz and Janeen and husband, Bob Rosno, all of Hayes Center; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Memorials may be given in his name.

Memorial services will be Wednesday, May 14, 2008, 10:30 a.m., at Carpenter Breland Chapel in McCook. Inurnment will be in the Hayes Center Cemetery.
