Kristi Lea Brown of McCook and Jeffrey DeBoer of Lincoln announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

Parents of the couple are Mark and Patty Brown of McCook and Doyle and Norma DeBoer of Lincoln. Grandparents of the bride-to-be are Harvey and Clara Dunn of Indianola.

The bride-to-be received her Associates Degree from McCook Community College and will graduate with a Bachelors Degree in history from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She is a conceirge at The Cornhusker Hotel in Lincoln.

The prospective bridegroom recceived an Associates Degree from Southeast Community College in Lincoln with a degree in machine tool technology. He is a machinist with Square D in Lincoln.

A May 17, 2008 wedding is planned at Hidden Valley Golf Course in Lincoln.
