Julie Pate formerly of McCook, of Omaha and Kip Schneider of Omaha announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.

Parents of the couple are Phil and Mary Pate of McCook and Al and Kathy Schneider of Ashland. Grandparents are Lorraine Schneider of Elwood and Stanley Knudsen of Lexington.

The bride-to-be is a 2004 graduate of University of Nebraska College at Kearney, with a Bachelor's Degree in business administration. She is employed with Coventry Health Care of Omaha and is pursuing a Masters of Business Administration degree.

The prospective bridegroom is a 2004 graduate of Doane College with a Bachelor's in business administration. He is working at Wells Fargo in Omaha and also pursuing a Masters of Business Administration degree.

A June 28, 2008, wedding ceremony is planned at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Omaha.
