OMAHA -- John Frederick Rogers 49, died Saturday (April 19, 2008) in Omaha.

He was born July 3, 1958, in Tucson, Ariz., to Frank Everett and Jennie Taylor Rogers. He lived in McCook and was employed with Valmont Irrigation in McCook.

He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Everett Rogers and his mother, Jennie Taylor Rogers.

Survivors include his son, Ryan Everett Rogers of Ludell, Kan.; step-daughter, Kristina Thomas and husband, Brian of McCook; brother, David Taylor Rogers; sister, Anne Rogers Blevins and husband, Les; one nephew; and a niece.

Memorial services will be Saturday, 4 p.m., at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in McCook.
