OBERLIN -- Kent Allen Ploussard, 52, died Wednesday (April 2, 2008) in Oberlin.
He was born May 27, 1956, at Oberlin, to Lee and Joyce (Claar) Ploussard. He grew up in Oberlin and graduated from Decatur Community High School in 1974.
On Dec. 31, 2007, he married Jodie Bishop in Oberlin. He was employed as the director of The Gateway in Oberlin.
He was a member of the Decatur County rural fire department.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and two brothers, Kevan and Kris Ploussard.
Survivors include his wife, Jodie of Oberlin; father, Lee Ploussard and wife, Judy of Oberlin; his mother, Joyce Ploussard of Oberlin; son, Aaron Ploussard of Oberlin; daughter, Tiffanie and husband, Matthew Farr of Oberlin; sister-in-law, Shona Ploussard of Denver, Colo.; former wife, Brenda Ploussard of Oberlin; and three grandchildren.
Services will be Saturday, 10 a.m., at The Gateway in Oberlin with the Rev. Doug Hasty officiating. Interment will be in the Oberlin Cemetery.
Visitation is today until 8 p.m., at Pauls Funeral Home and Saturday 8 a.m., until the time of services at The Gateway.
Memorials may be given to the Kevin Ploussard Memorial Fund for The Gateway.
