Klein, Hofaker wedding

Janet and Terry Hofaker Jr.
COZAD --Janet Klein and Terry Hofaker Jr., were united in marriage on Feb. 23, 2008, at First Methodist Church in Cozad with the Rev. Lyle Schoen officiating.

Parents of the bride are Debra Klein of Hastings and Brent Klein of McCook. Parents of the bridegroom are Reba Zellers of Rockville and Terry Hofaker Sr. of Holdrege.

The bride was escorted to the altar by her father. She wore a strapless gown of luxurious and refined taffeta with a lace up back enhanced with silky appliqued closures frosted with mini pearls, sequins and aurora borealis rhinestones. The princess line bodice featured a slightly dropped waist and continued in a full skirt caught with sparkling jewels throughout fashioning delicate pickups. It continued into a semi cathedral length train.

Erica Nelsen of Lincoln, cousin of the bride was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Joslyn Nelsen of Lincoln, cousin of the bride and Liana Dobos of Holdrege, step-sister of the bridegroom. Dee Klein of Maywood, aunt of the bride was the bride's personal attendant.

Terry Hofaker Sr. of Holdrege served as his son's best man. Jessie Vanwaardhuigen and Steven Klein, brother of the bride, both of Elwood were bridegroomsmen.

The flower girls were Myia Hofaker, daughter of the couple and MacKenzie Nelsen of Lincoln, cousin of the bride. Mariah Hofaker of Holdrege, sister of the bridegroom pulled Myia in a decorated wagon. Aaron and Alexander Bonini, sons of the bride, were ringbearers.

April Jurgens, cousin of the bride of LeMars, Iowa and Justin Klein, brother of the bride of Oxford were candlelighters and lit the memorial candle. Jane Rupe of Eustis, great-aunt of the bride played the music and Gina Hofaker, step-mother of the bridegroom of Holdrege, was the soloist.

Daneil Nelsen of Moorefield, cousin of the bride and Steven Klein were ushers.

Elizabeth Klein of Elwood, sister-in-law of the bride, and Anslie Dishman of Elwood were guest book attendants.

A reception followed the ceremony in the church fellowship hall. Owen and Deanna Wilson of Moorefield and Stephanie Jurgens of LeMars, aunts and uncle of the bride, were host and hostesses. Mathew Jurgens of LeMars, was in charge of the gift table.

Diane Klein and Marla Klein of Farnam, aunts of the bride, Deb Richert of Waco, aunt of the bridegroom and Rebecca Hofaker, sister of the bridegroom, were servers.

Special guests were the bride's grandparents, Ruth Jurgens of Cozad, Arlene Klein of Gothenburg, Raymond Klein of North Platte and the bridegroom's grandparents, Pearl and Leonard Hofaker of Lexington.

After a honeymoon trip to Lincoln, the couple is making their home near Lexington.
