OBERLIN -- Hazel M. Kilbourn, 94, died Thursday (March 27, 2008), at Decatur County Hospital in Oberlin.
She was born Feb. 7, 1914, at Diller, to Jacob and Cornelia (Willems) Lottman. She was raised in the Diller area and received her education in Diller and Fairbury, graduating in 1931,
She married Floyd Goldsberry and later married Charles Kilbourn. She was a homemaker. She lived in Washington, Kan., then Fairbury, Tekamah and Fremont, Neb., before moving to Oberlin in November 2007.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Ames.
She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; a daughter, Nancy Priefert; three brothers; and three sisters.
Survivors include a son, Tim and wife, Donna Goldsberry of Lincoln; a daughter, Judy and husband, Bill Ladehoff of Oberlin; her son-in-law, Erv Priefert; a sister, Dorothy Wiesener of St. Paul, Minn.; 11 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
The body has been cremated.
A memorial service will take place later in Tekamah.
