Melissa Hoddel of Oakfield, Wis. and Jason Wesch of McCook announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.

Parents of the couple are Dave and Kate Hoddel of Oakfield, Cindy Fischer of Oakfield and Roland and Sue Wesch of McCook.

The bride-to-be graduated from Nebraska Wesleyen University and is a teacher at Norris Elementary in Millard.

The prospective bridegroom is a graduate of Bellevue University and is employed as a police officer in Lincoln.

An April 11, 2008 wedding is planned in Lomira, Wis.
