They Call the Wind 'Mariah'

Cloyd Clark and Mark Carman sing "They Call the Wind Mariah" during the recent McCook Area Chamber of Commerce banquet, a teaser for the Southwest Nebraska Community Theater production of "Paint Your Wagon!" The musical will be presented at the McCook High School Auditorium Thursday through Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m.

Lee Marvin, Clint Eastwood and Jean Seaburg must appreciate the slight plot change described in your earlier full review.

It is still a great musical, with one of the best lines of all time.

"Partner, it may not make sense in Michigan, but it shore do in Ka-aleyforney."
