MCC women fall to Otero

LA JUNTA, Colo. -- The McCook Community College women's basketball 
team dropped an 85-41 decision at La Junta, Colo., Tuesday night.

Heaven Johnson led the Indians with 12 points and Bridgette Riddick 
added 11. Kendra Knight pulled down 7 rebounds, Riddick 6 and Ali 
Brickley 5.


MCC trailed at halftime 38-16. The Indians made 13-of-13 free throws 
in the second half.


MCC hosts Northeastern Junior College at 7 p.m. Friday and Eastern 
Wyoming at 5 p.m. Saturday.


The Region 9 Tournament will be held at Miles City Mont., March 1 - 4.
