CAMBRIDGE -- Hubert H. Kohlmeier, 93, died Monday (Feb. 18, 2008).
He was born in Jericho Springs, Mo., on Sept 25, 1914, to John Henry and Katherine (Walters) Kohlmeier. The family moved to the Yuma, Colo., area where he spent much of his life.

He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Cambridge and the American Legion Post 203 of McCook.
He lived in Yuma until 1963, when he moved to McCook. He was a member of the Peace Lutheran Church.
In 2000, he moved to Lincoln. He attended the Good Shepard Lutheran Church. Due to health concerns, he moved to Cambridge in August of 2007, to be closer to family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; seven brothers: Paul, Art, Fred, Ed, Melvin, Raymond and Marvin; and wife, Eunice of 23 years.
Survivors include his daughter, Joyce and husband, Norman Trosper of Cambridge; son, David Kohlmeier of McCook; one brother, Irvin and wife, Alma of Sterling, Colo.; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Friday at 10:30 a.m., at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Cambridge with the Rev. David Feddern officiating. Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Cambridge.
Memorials may be left in his name at the Lockenour-Jones Mortuary in Cambridge.
