Bernice A. Kircher, 86, died Friday (Jan.25, 2008) at Community Hospital in McCook.

She was born in Giltner Sept. 19, 1921, to Oscar and Anna (Kindvall) Oberg. She attended McCook Schools.

She married Lyle Graves. They were divorced March 27, 1974.

She later married Gere Kircher on April 18. 1975. She was a homemaker.

She was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Anna Oberg; son, Russell Graves on Jan. 13, 1980; her husbands, Lyle Graves and Gere Kircher; three sisters, Elizabeth Kircher, Margaret Brown and Goldie Amanet; and two brothers, Carl Oberg and Gust Oberg; nephew, Eddie Oberg and niece, Charlene Doherty; and step son, Gary Kircher.

Survivors include her step-daughter, Doris Roberts; step-daughter-in-law, Karen Hodson; two granddaughters; 12 nieces and nephews; great-grandchildren; and great-grandnieces and nephews as well as great-great-grand nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, 11 a.m., at Carpenter Breland Chapel in McCook with the Rev. Dr. Jeff Thurman officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorials may be given in her name.
