WAUNETA -- Marjorie E. Hallett, 90, died Friday (Jan. 18, 2008) at Chase County Community Hospital in Imperial.
She was born May 31, 1917, on the farm home east of Enders to Charles M. and Myrtle H. (Finch) Hallett. She contracted influenza at five weeks of age and was handicapped for the rest of her life.
She attended school for several years at Enders and enjoyed reading and doing simple tasks.
She became a Christian in November 1939.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three half-brothers; and a niece.
Survivors include her brother, Charles Hallett of Imperial; sisters, Nina Hallett of Imperial and Delores Grosvenor of Caldwell, Idaho; two nieces; and one nephew.
Funeral services will be Thursday, 2 p.m. (MT), at Immanuel Missionary Church in Wauneta, with the Rev. Gary Hunt officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery in Imperial.
Visitation will be Thursday before the service at the church.
Memorials may be given in her name.
