Trisha Bamesberger and Luke Cross, both of Kearney, announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.

Parents of the couple are Phil and Janice Bamesberger of Indianola, Jill and Mike Cross of Kearney and Adolfo and Tami Sanchez of Lincoln. Grandparents of the bride-to-be are Mary Ann Stritt of Indianola and Dale and Janet Bamesberger, also of Indianola.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Twin Valley High School in Bartley. She works at Alltel in Kearney.

The prospective bridegroom is a graduate of Kearney High School and is a truck driver.

A Feb. 8, 2008, ceremony is planned at First Baptist Church in Kearney.
