VALENTINE -- Evelyn Jochem, 89, died Wednesday (Jan. 9, 2008), at Cherry County Hospital in Valentine.

Survivors include her daughters, Beverly Talkington and Sharon Tucker, both of McCook; a brother, Aubrey Lord of Valentine; a sister, Doris Cronin of Burwell; and a sister-in-law, Georgia Lord of Valentine.

Funeral services will be Monday, 11 a.m., at the United Methodist Church in Valentine. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery in Valentine.

Visitation will be Saturday, 3-9 p.m., and Sunday 10 a.m.-9 p.m., at Sandoz Chapel of the Pines.

Sandoz Chapel of the Pines is in charge of arrangements.
