Barnes, Vilbert engagement

Lindsay A. Barnes of St. Charles, Mo., and Lt. Johnathan M. Vilbert (Army National Guard) of Festus, Mo., announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.

Parents of the couple are Todd and Marcie Barnes of St. Charles, Brian and Betty Aubuchon of Festus and Mark and Kim Vilbert, Ferguson, Mo.

The bride's grandparents are Dale and Janet Bamesberger of Indianola, Jackie and Harry Perkins of Johnson Lake and Robert and Dona Barnes of Crookston.

The bride-to-be is a 2003 graduate of Lutheran High School in St. Charles and a 2007 graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She will be employed with St. Luke's Hospital in Chesterfield, Mo.

The prospective bridegroom is a 2001 graduate of Festus High School in Missouri and a 2006 graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia with a Bachelor of Science in Psycology and Military Science. He is also a 2007 graduate of Black Hawk Aviation School at Fort Rucker, Ala. He is employed as Commander of the Delta Company at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. He expects to serve in Iraq in May of 2008. A March 8, 2008, wedding is being planned at Zion Lutheran Church in St. Charles.
