Jean Robinson Kappert

OMAHA -- Jean Robinson Kappert, 72, died Friday (Dec. 21, 2007).

She spent more than 25 years teaching in Nebraska. She also taught in Germany for 10 years and in Namibia while serving in the Peace Corps. She ran a Bed and Breakfast and owned The Book End while she lived in McCook.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Judith Brozek.

She is survived by her husband, John; daughters, Pam and husband, Jerry Vap, Cindy and husband, Clay Baznik and Judy and husband, Dedric Gill; sisters, Joyce and husband, Robert Johnson and Jan May; brother, Jim and wife, Tess Brozek; and nine grandchildren.

Memorial services will be Saturday, 11 a.m., at Pacific Street Chapel, 14151 Pacific Street, in Omaha. Visitation will be at 10 a.m., Saturday at the Chapel with rosary at 10:30 a.m.

John A. Gentleman Mortuaries, Pacific Street Chapel of Omaha is in charge of arrangements.
