Ruf, Pachta wedding

Ella Ruf of Wilsonville and Chris Pachta Linn, Kan., were united in marriage on Aug. 25, 2007, at St. Johns Catholic Church in Cambridge, with the Rev. Robert Barnhill officiating.

Parents of the couple are David and Margaret Ruf of Wilsonville and Jim and Marilyn Pachta of Linn.

Grandparents of the bride are Manuel and Maraglee Ruf of Wilsonville and DeeLee and Odessa Treat of Gothenburg. Grandparents of the bridegroom are Joseph and Catherine Pachta of Munden Kan., and the Late Wallace and Ruth Berry of Manhattan Kan.

Maid of honor was Diane Kegley and Tara Sund currently serving with honor in the U.S. Navy stationed in Japan. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Piper, Melissa Pachta, sister of the bridegroom, and Raine Mahan.

The best man was Rawly Kaufman and groomsmen were Mathew and Andrew Pachta, brothers of the bridegroom, Lucas Seiler and Doug Baier.

The flower girl was Emily Pachta, cousin of bridegroom and ring bearer was Donald Rohr, nephew of the bride. Readers for the ceremony were Mary Ann Sides, sister of the bride and Julie McLaughlin, aunt of the bridegroom. Candlelighters were Brendon Hauxwwell, nephew of bride and Elyse Pachta, cousin of bridegroom. Brooke Jones was the personal attendant.

The music for the ceremony was provided by Melissa Seiler, Jon Pachta, uncle of bridegroom and Rick Fredricks, uncle of the bride. Guest book attendants were Kristin Hasenkamp and Elizabeth Wells.

Ushers for the ceremony were Heath Ruf, brother of the bride, Brad Sides, brother-in-law of bride, Chaz Steinel and Nathan Mull.

A reception and dance was at the Community Building on the fairgrounds in McCook, with Ami and Bryan Hauxwell, Carey and James Rohr, Mary Ann and Brad Sides, all sisters and brother-in laws of the bride, and Heath and Vickie Ruf brother and sister-in-law of the bride.

The bride received her Masters Degree in Agronomy at Kansas State University in Manhattan Kan., in December 2007 and is currently employed at Farmway Coop in Concordia and Belleville Kan. The bridegroom received his Masters Degree in Agronomy at Kansas State University in Manhattan in May 2007 and is employed at Farmers Coop in Hanover Kan.

After a honeymoon to Jamaica the couple is making there home near Belleville.
