GRAND JUNCTION, Colo., -- Beryl V. Harper, age 86 of Grand Junction, Colo., entered eternal life on Dec. 8, 2007.
She entered this life on Aug. 25, 1921, in Stratton. Mrs. Harper spent her childhood in Stratton and was a graduate of Stratton High School. She married Glenn Harper on Sept. 22, 1943, in Oberlin. Beryl and Glenn made their home briefly in Green River, Wyo., from 1978 to 1988.
She had many hobbies, but family, playing cards and gardening were among her favorite.
Mrs. Harper was the loving mother of Janet Kenney of Rangely, Colo.; John Harper of Big Piney, Wyo., and Jim Harper of Sandy, Utah. Loving sister of Vola Carter, Bill Loop, and Bonnie Hager. Her mother Bess (Crawford) Loop; father, George Loop; and husband, Glenn Harper preceded her in death. She was also the fond grandmother of eight grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
A funeral service was today at the Callahan Edfast Mortuary, 2515 Patterson Road, Grand Junction, Colo., 81505. Burial followed at the Grand Junction Memorial Gardens.
