Jessica and Casey Meguire of McCook announce the birth of their son, Landen Ryan, on Nov. 8, 2007, at Community Hospital of McCook. Landen weighed 8 pounds, 9 ounces and measured 20 inches long. He has a big sister, Bailey, 2 1/2 years old. His grandparents are Jim Mullen of McCook and the late Kellie Mullen and Dave and Shawna Meguire of Tucumcari, N.M. Great-grandparents are Ellen Janousek of Trenton, Marilyn Malleck of McCook and the late Robert Malleck and Ray and Sharon Mullen of Maywood.
