The bride's grandparents are Lewis and Jane Palmer of Cambridge, the late Virginia Liess, and Gale Liess and wife, Claudia of Bartley. The bridegroom's grandparents are Don and Mary Anne Schutts of Swanton.
Jaime Patera, cousin of bride, of Lincoln served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kindra Smith of Omaha, Annie Stott of Kearney and Katie Kobza, sister of bridegroom, of Lincoln.
The best man was Andrew Kobza, brother of bridegroom, of Lincoln. Bridegroomsmen were Mike Kannas of St. Cloud, Minn., Mark Polacek of Seward and Brendan Liess, brother of bride, of Kearney.
The flowergirls were Karissa Patera, cousin of bride, of Lincoln and Rachel Witt, cousin of bride, of McCook. The ring bearers were Reese Dellevoet, cousin of bride, of Kearney and Kade Kobza, nephew of bridegroom, of Omaha.
Ushers were Jeremy Young, cousin of bride, of Kearney, Lucas Ruggles, cousin of bride, of Bartley and Mike Tworek of Lincoln. Deb Dolan of Indianola was the organist and Sara Cappel of Avondale, Ariz., was the soloist.
A reception followed the ceremony at the Knights of Columbus in McCook. Cylee and Danica Liess, sisters of bride, of McCook were guestbook attendants. Host couples were Jody and Kyle Dellevoet of Kearney.
The bride graduated from McCook High in 2002 and from the University of Nebraska at Kearney in May 2007. She is employed at Knollwood Elementary in Rapid City, S.D., as a Special Eduation teacher.
The bridegroom graduated from David City Aquinas in 2000 and Central Community College in 2002. He is the store manager at Menards in Rapid City, S.D.
The couple is making their home in Rapid City.
