Grandparents of the bride are Catherine Blume of McCook and the late Anton Blume and Ray and Alma Miller of Culbertson. Grandparents of the groom are Keith and Susie Lorensen of Pender and Carroll and Ruth Baker of Pender.
Lesa Tines of Culbertson, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor to the bride. Laura Miller of Culbertson, sister of the bride, Heather Hagler of Arnold and Sara Baker of Pender, sister of the bridegroom, served as bridesmaids.
Jeremy Walker of South Sioux City and Jeff Dolezal of Pender served as co-bestmen for the bridegroom. Aaron Rewinkel of Kearney and Mark Gaer of Pender served as bridegroomsmen.
The ring bear was Landon Tines of Culbertson, nephew to the bride, and the flower girl was Ali Lorensen of Pender, cousin of the bridegroom.
The bride was escorted by her father. She wore a sheer cap sleeved gown. The gown had a sweetheart neckline with pleated tulle overlaying the empire bodice that was emphasized with beading. The rest of the gown had scattered beading flowing throughout the dress and also down the split back train with a sparkling tulle overlay.
Vocals for the ceremony were performed by Lisa Bortner, while the organ was played by Sally Loescher. Attending the guest book were Jillian Bryant, cousin of the bride, and Mandy Baker, cousin of the bridegroom.
Following the ceremony, a buffet reception was at the Hitchcock County Ag Complex in Culbertson. The reception and dance was hosted by Steve and Cathy Bryant of McCook, uncle and aunt of the bride, JoElla Bunstock of Lincoln, aunt of the bride, and Ron and Kathy Baker of Pender, uncle and aunt of the bridegroom. The dinner was served by friends of the bride's family, the Aphrodite Staff. The cake was served by Kasey Rigg of Lincoln, aunt of the bride, Barb Baker of Homer, aunt of the bridegroom, and Jana Lorensen of Pender, aunt of the bridegroom.
The couple honeymooned in Las Vegas and Hawaii.
The bride graduated from Culbertson High in 2002. She attended college at the University of Nebraska at Kearney and is continuing her education at Wayne State College in Wayne.
The bridegroom is a 2001 Pender High graduate and graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney in 2006 with an Ag Business degree. He is farms east of Pender.
The couple is residing in Pender.
