OBERLIN -- Suzanne D. Harms, 46, died Thursday (Nov. 1, 2007) at her residence.
She was born Nov. 11, 1960, at Nebraska City, to Donald and Barbara (Shaw) Bittel. She was raised and received her schooling in Colorado.
On Nov. 18, 2006, she married Charles "Chuck" Harms. They moved to Oberlin in April 2007.
She was a registered nurse.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.
She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Bittel.
Survivors included her husband, Chuck Harms of Oberlin, a son, Chad Elder of Louisville, Colo., three daughters, Amber Elder of Louisville, Brittney Raines and husband James of Greeley, Colo., and Donna Elder of Louisville; her mother, Barbara Bittel of Greeley; a brother, Steve and wife, Christy Bittel of Kansas City, Kan.; and three sisters, Sheila Murren of Hiram, Ga., Shirley and husband, Scott Little of Yuma, Ariz., and Sondra Raner of Greeley.
Memorial services will be Saturday, 10 a.m., at St. John's Lutheran Church in Oberlin with the Rev. Rick Langess officiating.
