SELDEN -- Joleen A. O'Hare, 50, died Monday (Oct. 15, 2007) at Sheridan County Hospital.
She was born Sept. 14, 1957, to Elton and Mildred (McCashland) O'Hare in Oberlin. She grew up in Norcatur and Oberlin attending Norcatur grade school and graduating from Decatur Community High School.
She married Bruce LaVerirge in 1982, in Scott City, Kan. She worked as a bookkeeper and lived in Oberlin, Scott City, Garden City, Kan., Colorado Springs, Colo., and then moved back to Oberlin and Selden.
She attended Lyle Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mildred O'Hare in 2000 and husband, Bruce in 2003.
Survivors include her friend, Carl Bogaart of Selden; father, Elton O'Hare of Oberlin; daughters, Amanda Allen and husband, David of Falcon, Colo., and Melissa LaVerirge and husband, Joe Johnson of Chipita Park, Colo.; brothers, Rodney O'Hare and wife, Janice of Norcatur, Kan., Roger O'Hare and wife, Connie of Goodland, Kan., and Ronald O'Hare of Denver, Colo.; sisters, Mary Morse and husband, Jack of Beaver City, Devra Beyers and husband Kurt of Hays, Kan., and Cynthia Hattrup and husband, Steve of Littleton, Colo.; and four grandchildren.
Services will be Saturday, 2 p.m., at Sappa Valley Manor in Oberlin. Interment will be at a later date.
There is no visitation.
Memorials may be given in her name.
