Shada, Banzhaf engagement

Jamie Shada of Kearney and Cory Banzhaf of Eustis announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.

Parents of the couple are James and Kelly Shada of Kearney, Kathy and Gaylord Smallfoot of Eustis, Kaye Banzhaf of Eustis and the late Randy Banzhaf. Cory is the grandson of Don and Jean Sughroue of Cambridge.

The bride-to-be is a 1999 graduate of Kearney High School and a 2003 graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in education, elementary education and English as a second language. She is employed as the recruiting coordinator at Buckle, Inc. in Kearney.

The prospective bridegroom is a 1999 graduate of Eustis-Farnam High School and a 2003 graduate of the University of Nebraska at Kearney where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in construction management. He is employed as a project manager at Midlands Contracting in Kearney.

A Nov. 17, 2007, ceremony at First Lutheran Church in Kearney is planned with a reception following at the Holiday Inn.
