BIRD CITY -- Clarence Henry August Busse, 92, died Tuesday (Aug. 28, 2007) at the Hester Home in Benkelman.
He was born Nov. 29, 1914, at Hubbel.
He was a farmer-rancher and served in the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Minnie (Oestmann) Busse in 2005.
Survivors include two sons, Dan Busse of Bird City and Dave Busse of Bennington; a daughter, Pat Cooksey of Houston, Texas; a sister, Ruth Oestman of Cottonwood, Ariz.; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Services will be Saturday, 11 a.m., CDT, at St. John Lutheran Chruch in Bird City. Burial will be at the Bird City Cemetery. Military honors will be presented by the Fort Riley Honor Squad.
Visitation is today until 9 p.m., at Knodel Funeral Home, 202 S. Benton, St. Francis.
