John David Case died Monday Aug. 27, 2007, at his home in Riverton, Wyo., at the age of 58.
He was born Sept.12, 1948, at McCook, the son of Joseph and Jean (Prosser) Case. He grew up on the family farm west of Culbertson and attended District 75 grade school. He graduated from Culbertson High School in 1966. He graduated from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln in 1971, where he was a member of the Sigma Nu Fraternity.
He farmed west of Culbertson until 1991, when he moved to Woodland Park, Colo., where he worked in the retail sales business. In 1996, he moved to Riverton, Wyo., where he resided until his death.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph in 1968, and one brother, Edd Case in 1991.
John is survived by his mother, Jean Case and one brother, Jeff Case, both of Culbertson; sisters, Mary White and husband, Larry of Riverton, Wyo., and Mag Cole and husband, Butch of Indianola; relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Friday at Trinity United Methodist Church in Culbertson with Rev. Richard Melano officiating. Interment will be in the Culbertson Cemetery.
Memorials may be given in his name and friends may call at Herrmann Funeral Home in Culbertson on Thursday from 9 a.m. - 9 p.m.
