TRENTON -- Raymond Walker was called to his heavenly home Aug. 26, 2007, at El Dorado Manor Home in Trenton, at the age of 71.

He was born June 29, 1936, in San Diego, Calif., the son of the late Earl R. and Katherine (Allen) Walker. In 1953, Ray joined the U.S. Marine Corps and served his country,

In 1978, Ray married Lenora Morrow in Las Vegas, Nev. Ray worked for the National Park Service in Yellowstone, Bryce Canyon and Death Valley National Parks. In 1994, after 26 years of service, he retired and he and Lenora made their home in Trenton.

Ray enjoyed carpentry and woodworking and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Rodney Walker and Theodore Walker and sister, Virginia "Happy" Oakley.

Ray is survived by his wife, Lenora Walker of Trenton; brother, Bob and wife, Sandy Walker of Tulsa, Okla.; children, Ray and Dana Walker of Clovis, Ariz., Carl Walker of Missoula, Mont., and Renee Walker of Tulsa, Okla., Rollie and Julie Morrow of Livingston, Mont., Rebecca and Marty Hosband of Colfax, Iowa, Reva and Terry Carlson of Osmond and Rachel and Jessy McArthur of Trenton; 33 grandchildren, Johnny Walker, Richie Spencer, Rosemary Spencer, Sean Spencer, Sydney Spencer, Travis Spencer, Angela Murella, Linda Murella, Nicole Murella, Ruby Reynolds, Virginia Noffsinger, Jesse Anderson, Rio Klimek, Cedar Carlson, Lanny Carlson, Chancy Carlson, Tracy Gubler, Serena Morrow, Molly Morrow, Rollie Morrow, Robert Bent, Heather Matson, April Matson, Rachel Matson, Brooke Matson, Aaron Matson, Martin Hosband, Jeff Hosband, Kevin Hosband, Kristy Hosband, Sara Buckley, Jack McArthur and Jill McArthur; and 11 great-grandchildren, Seth Walker, Cole Gubler, Cade Gubler, Jessica Gubler, Dylan Noffsinger, Ethan Smith, Jadyn Reynolds, Ian Reynolds, Terry Carlson, MaKenzie Carlson and Trevor Carlson.

Ray will be missed greatly by his family and friends.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday at the Church of God in Trenton, with Rev. Johnny Walker officiating, Interment with military honors will be in the Trenton Cemetery.

Memorials may be given in his name and friends may call at Herrmann Funeral Home in Trenton from 9 a.m. - 9 p.m.

There will be a visitation at the Church of God on Wednesday from 9 a.m. - 8 p.m.

Herrmann Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
