Chelsey and Lee Benes
Chelsey L. Tiller of Curtis and Lee M. Benes of Valparaiso were united in marriage June 2, 2007, at the United Methodist Church in McCook with the Rev. Dr. Jeff Thurman officiating.

Parents of the couple are Jim and Theresa Tiller of Curtis and Lona Benes of Valparaiso and the late Melvin Benes.

Grandparents of the couple are Bob and Vonnie Tiller and Gene and Joan Gerver, all of McCook and Ermin and Delores Benes of Valparaiso and Leonard and Erma Skoda of Wahoo.

The bride wore a strapless, floor-length gown with beading on the bodice and at the bottom of the skirt. She carried a bouquet of white roses.

The maid of honor was Michelle Neel of Fort Collins, Colo. Bridesmaids were Daisy Tiller of McCook and Maggie Tiller of Gothenburg, both sisters-in-law of the bride and Melissa Jelinek of Columbus, sister of the bridegroom. They carried bouquets of spider mums and roses.

The best man was Mitch Benes of Valparaiso, brother of the bridegroom. Bridegroomsmen were Matthew Benes of Omaha and Martin Benes of Valparaiso, both brothers of the bridegroom and Nate Jelinek of Albion. The bridegroomsmen each wore black tuxedos with blue vests to match the bridesmaids.

Flowergirls were Carlie Benes of Valparaiso, niece of the bridegroom and Cara Oltmer of Indianola. They wore white dresses and threw rose petals down the isle. Ring bearers were Devon Benes of Valparaiso and Brennen Jelinek of Columbus, both nephews of the bridegroom..

Ushers were Bret Tiller of Gothenburg and Matt Tiller of McCook, both brothers of the bride, Cody Potter of Valparaiso, cousin of the bridegroom and Dave Stava of Brainard. Candlelighters were Stacie Bartles of Springfield, cousin of bride and Taylor Benes of Valparaiso, niece of bridegroom.

The pianist was Joan Koch of McCook. The soloist was Milan Hanson of Fort Collins Colo., uncle of the bride. The guestbook attendant was Holli Oltmer of Indianola and Jared Bartels of Springfield passed out programs.

The reception was at the Red Willow County Fairgrounds. Ron and Sue Benes of Brainard, aunt and uncle of the bridegroom, and John and Lori Bartels of Springfield, cousins of the bride, hosted the buffet and dance.

The couple will honeymoon in Cancun Mexico in November. They are making their home in Savannah, Mo.
