Tayler McMinamen and Bryan Ratanasin of Denver, Colo., announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.

Parents of the couple are Mark and Julie McMinamen formerly of McCook now of Kearney and Tom and Nokky Ratanasin of Yukon, Okla.

The bride-to-be is a 2002 graduate of McCook High School. She graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Family Studies and is employed at The Goddard School of Early Childhood Development in Denver.

The prospective bridegroom is a 2000 graduate of Mustang High School. He is a 2004 graduate from Oklahoma Baptist University with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Biblical Studies. He is employed with K-Life Youth Ministries in Denver.

A Sept. 1, 2007, wedding ceremony is planned at Mount Vernon Event Center in Golden, Colo.
