Mindy Ackerman of McCook and John Herenandez of Kearney announce the birth of their daughter, Briauna Faith Herenandez, born July 2, 2007, at Mary Lanning in Hastings. She weighed 9 pounds and nine ounces and was 21 inches long. Grandparents are Karen and Scott Ackermann of McCook, Sharon Kealy of Ogallala and Dan Herenandez of Big Springs. Great grandparents are Steve and Bethine Vontz of McCook and Harvey Ackermann, also of McCook.
