OBERLIN -- Lillian I. Mosier, 90, died Wednesday (July 11, 2007) in Oberlin.
She was born Dec. 30, 1916, in Rawlins County, Kan., to Russell and Anna (Pummer) Lemman. She grew up in Decatur County and attended rural Decatur County school.
She married William Henry Miller on March 20, 1937. He preceded her in death on Aug. 9, 1952.
She married Walter Mosier on Oct. 9, 1955. They lived on a farm southwest of Oberlin then moved to Oberlin in 1961. He died on Sept. 20, 2006.
She worked at the Oberlin Elementary School and Decatur County Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, William Henry Miller and Walter Mosier; infant son; daughter, Irene Dye; brothers, Donald, Everett and Ivan Lemman; and sisters, Evelyn Brown and Genevive Gilbert.
Survivors include her sons, Jerry and wife, Cheryl Miller and William Mosier, all of Oberlin; daughters, Lou and husband, Bill Kersenbrock of Colby, Kan., Peggy North of Salina, Kan., Waunita and husband, Jerry Stoney of Oberlin, Patsy Bowlby of Geneso, Kan., and Fern Mosier of Oberlin; brother, Russell Lemman Jr., of Colby, Kan.; sisters, Dorothy Carver of Phillipsburg, Kan., and Donis Minch of Mancelonia, Mich.; sisters-in-law, Mary Lemman of Oberlin and Colleen Lemman of Tribune, Kan.; 22 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Gravesisde services will be Saturday, 11 a.m., in the Oberlin Cemetery.
There is no visitation.
