A glorious Fourth

Indianola's firefighters treat fellow Americans to a red-white-blue-and-gold Fourth of July, above right, spectacular Wednesday evening. In the gathering dusk over the community's football field, firefighters exploded colorful bursts of light and noise called -- among other things -- "Poisonous Snake," "Peacocks" and "Flaming Palm Trees."
