Ginamarie Gloe of Lakeland, Fla., and Andrew McCarty of McCook announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.

Parents of the couple are Howard and Gloria Statum of Lakeland and Chris and Leeann McCarty of McCook.

The bride-to-be is a 2001 graduate of Harrison Arts Center in Lakeland and a 2005 graduate of Florida Southern College with a bachelor of arts in Studio Art.

The prospective bridegroom is a 2002 home-school graduate and a 2006 graduate of Grace University in Omaha with a bachelor of science in Church Education and Bible Studies. The couple is employed as traveling technicians for a multi-media assembly company, Camfel Productions, based in Irwindale, Calif.

An Aug. 4, 2007, wedding is planned at Medulla Baptist Church in Lakeland.
