LINCOLN -- Lloyd W. Weber 81, of McCook, died Wednesday (June 27, 2007) in Lincoln.
He was born to Andrew and Leota (Housel) Weber on Aug. 7, 1925, in rural Lancaster County. Lloyd was a World War II Army Veteran.
He was a member of the McCook VFW, Elks Lodge and Our Savior's Lutheran Church. He was also a member of the Reformed Church of America in Firth.
Llody was devoted to his family and had a special love for his dog, Buffy.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Eileen Weber, parents, Andrew and Leota Weber and brother, Clifford Weber.
Survivors include his sons, Steven L. Weber and wife, Sandra and Douglas P. Weber, all of Lincoln; daughter, Lori S. Weber of McCook; grandchildren, Daniel Weber of Lincoln, Erika and Steve Kane of Omaha, Candice Weber of Lincoln, Kali and Rob Kravig of Lincoln, and Ladd Lyons of Omaha; great-grandchildren, Benjamin Kane of Omaha and Emilee and Grayson Buol of Lincoln; sisters, Irene Essink of Lincoln, Charlene and husband, Roland Beach of Firth and Kathryn and husband, Tony Liesveld of Pleasant Dale; brother-in-law, Bill Lorenzen and friend, Janice of Lincoln; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday, 2 p.m., at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home in Lincoln. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Park. Honorary pallbearers will be McCook friends and neighbors.
